Tribes and Groups

While reading 'Tribes' a book by Seth Godin, a thought just pop-up in my mind that, online groups at Google, Yahoo, Facebook can be more effective if they transform these groups in to a Tribe. As Seth describes: that a tribe is a group of people connected to one another, connected to a leader, and connected to an idea”. Because a tribe has a leader, a group does not. Group members strive to be a part of something bigger than then they think they are. They want to be part of a movement. So, again: what if groups are being transformed in to a tribe with the right leadership, a strong foundation and a common goal to achieve?

You've given our website some great food for thought regarding tribes... we've only been thinking about gangs and the modern style.

    Please keep posting more.
